Each triangle is made as a separate piece (in this instance there are 14 in total, 7 white and 7 green) then overlapped to create the desired pattern and design. They are sewn together along the top edge to hold in place. Piping is also sewn along the top edge before it is attached to the board for a clean, polished look.
