French Door Topped Off

What to do with a wall of windows? This home not only has many windows but a French door in the center. To address just the windows and not the door would have made this room too divided. By treating the entire wall as one, unity was brought to the space. Using a cornice board hung above the French door; allows the door to open properly. Ties were placed at each window division to create style and continuity. A covered button adds that touch of whimsy.
