What better costume this Halloween for a drapery maker than your very own personal drapes.Since wearing a drapery rod would be too uncomfortable for any length of time, I custom cut a piece of wood to fit the curve of my neck which then allowed the “drapery rod” to sit on my shoulders. The custom drapes were then threaded onto the rod and decorative finials were added for a finishing touch.
