In this two story family room a valance was created to span across all three windows with long jabots at each end to frame the outside view and shorter jabots between the windows to break the long span and add interest. A stripped banding, cut on the bias, trims the entire valance. This dark shade of chocolate brown is a perfect contrast to the bright walls and a great balance for the tall ceilings.
